[ Mad About Plaid

My memories of plaid go back to the old days. Standing in my childhood home decked out in Osh Kosh overalls with a red and black plaid shirt underneath, slightly farmer and ready to romp about in the backyard.
The middle school years, when grunge was at its best - boy t-shirts, baggy high waisted jeans and of course the oversized plaid shirt left unbuttoned and loose.
In more recent years, it seems every fall turns out plaid - always with a different twist. This coming season plaid is everywhere in all shapes and sizes - go bold with crazy mix of colors or traditional in a county-girl manner.

I like layering the long shirt over a vintage slip. I hadn’t thought of this, but it looks great. Definitely something I want to try.
